Excellence Night 2022: Congratulations to the 3 winners!
The 17ᵉ edition of the Alumni Excellence Evening took place on Wednesday 23 November at the Learning Planet Institute in Paris, with nearly 150 participants in face-to-face and distance learning.
François Taddei, Researcher, Founder and Director of the Learning Planet Institute introduced the evening on the theme "The School of the Future: ESC Clermont in 2050".
A beautiful evening placed under the sign of collective intelligence.
This year, 3 women with inspiring backgrounds, graduates of the ESC Clermont Business School (Promos 1991, 1994 and 2022) were honoured: Florence Douroux-Chatellier, Florence Hale and Alexia Sellos.
Congratulations to these three laureates, committed, inspiring women, open to the world and socially involved!
This is the first time that the Alumni Association has awarded only women!
PRIX DE L’EXCELLENCE
This award recognises outstanding professional achievement. It has been awarded since 2007.
This year, it was awarded to Florence Douroux-Chatelier, General Manager of a Subsidiary | Business Unit | B2B2C | Omnicanal | Innovation at Microsoft and 1991 graduate, for her exceptional career path within leading companies, for her success at the highest level and her commitment to the responsible economy.
After Procter & Gamble, then Nokia, Florence joined Dyson, in 2010 as Marketing Director and then as Sales Director in 2013. In 2017, she was appointed CEO of Dyson France. After a short experience at Zehnder Group, she joined Microsoft as Managing Director of consumer and retail markets in May 2022. She is also involved in the circular economy as a business angel and board member in 2 start-ups.
PRIX DE L'ENGAGEMENT
This prize rewards the commitment of a graduate in an associative, charitable, sporting or artistic context.
This year it was awarded to Florence Hale, a 1994 graduate, for her involvement with Inspireo, in line with the values of the School and the Alumni Association.
After starting her career in Switzerland and Germany and then working as the Communications Director of the Association 'Les Petits Princes', Florence decided to turn her passion into her profession by becoming a certified professional coach. She facilitates solidarity hackathons. At the same time, she is involved in community life and accompanies young people in the framework of '20 years - 1 project', 'Tadam', 'Inspireo'.
LABEL EXCELLENCE
This award recognises the exemplary performance of a young graduate, in terms of academic achievement, future potential, human and relational qualities, networking skills and the ability to represent the School. The winner thus joins the Excellence Club.
This year's winner is Alexia Sellos, who will be a graduate of the outgoing class of 2022.
Alexia has been very involved in the associative life of the School: member of Go2C, on a BDE list, Alumni ambassador, member of the Alumni Board of Directors to represent the Master students.
After a preparatory class, a 1st year Master, a gap year, Alexia did a double degree in Sydney (new partner university of the School). She continued with an internship in Mayotte and will soon join a graduate program at Colas.
